| The
Publication Department of MU Australia is headed by an Australian Manager with
Coordinators in each of the 23 dioceses. The purpose of this Department is to provide
material for members to use in their branches, as well as in their private and community
lives. Some examples are: MU Service books, membership cards and badges. Wave of Prayer
leaflets, information about the Worldwide MU, and history books. Kits are produced for use
by parish clergy to use with marriage preparation and baptism. Gift and souvenir items are produced - these include a tea towel with a wildflower design and a carry bag with the MU Australia logo. Each year a Christmas card is produced and proceeds from the sale of these help to support MU projects in Australia and overseas. Most dioceses conduct literature stalls at diocesan functions and provide members with a selection of good quality cards and stationery items as well as books of a devotional nature, and souvenir and gift items. As part of the team serving MU Australia, the Publication Department provides members with resources to enable them to fulfil the aims and objects of this world wide society - sharing Christ's love by encouraging, strengthening, and supporting marriage and family life. |
