Tasmania

World Wide President Trish Heywood visited Tasmania on 7 and 8th February. All but one branch were able to travel to Campbell Town to meet Trish, where they shared a Service of Holy Communion, then lunch. Trish gave an interesting and informative talk to those present describing her experiences and travels as WWP.
Trish was able to visit the Church at Cullenswood where Mothers' Union began in Australia. The church is privately owned by the Legg family, and is no longer used on a regular basis, though two family weddings have been held there in recent times. The church is well kept, and Trish and members of MU Tasmania Executive were able to share a short "dedication" with Robert Legg, the present owner.
On Sunday morning Trish spoke at St Mark's Launceston. After the service Trish was taken to the airport, where she was farewelled as she left to meet MU members in Victoria.
